Afternoon Book Review
1st Monday, 12:15 p.m.
Group members review a book of their choosing. Luncheon at Ann Arbor City Club before meeting.
 
Americana
4th Monday, 7:30 p.m.
Members present topics on American history. Trips are planned for October & May to historical sites.
 
American Heritage
2nd Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.
Americana Afternoons
 
Bibliomaniacs
4th Thursday, 9:15 a.m.
Focus is on books and the making of books.
 
Book Exchanges
(no meetings)
Each member purchases a book by mid-Sept. Books are rotated according to pre-arranged schedule.
 
Breakfast Out
3rd Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.
Members meet at restaurants in greater Ann Arbor area for breakfast and conversation.
 
Bridge

Great Books Foundation Series. Two novels are also read.
 
Couples Gourmet
1st weekend, Sept.-May
Couples meet in membersÂ’ homes and bring a dish designated by the hosts. Dinner or brunch.
 
Creative Arts
2nd & 4th Tuesday 1:00 p.m.
Bring handiwork projects to “sit and stitch”. Share techniques and patterns.
 
Eclectic Gourmand
2nd Monday, Noon.
Luncheon group meets in membersÂ’ homes or local restaurants to explore various cuisines. All are preceded by a talk about the cuisine of the day.
 
Evening Book Discussion
3rd Monday, 7:30 p.m.
Discuss modern fiction & non-fiction. Meets all year.
 
Evening Gourmet
2nd Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Exploration of foods of all kinds. Team of four cooks prepare meals.
 
Eve. Restaurant Gourmet
2nd Thursday, 6:00 p.m.
Members explore various restaurants in greater Ann Arbor area.
 
Excursions
3rd Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.
Planning field trips to cultural and historical sites/events. Open to all.
 
Exploration of Myth
2nd Tuesday, 10:00 a.m.
Members study and give presentations on world myths and religions.
 
Filmgoers
2nd Wednesday, 7-ish p.m
Attend movies at local theaters (Michigan and State) and meet for follow up discussion.
 
Gardening
1st Wednesday, 7:30 p.m.
Focus on gardens & horticulture, tour gardens, annual herb potluck, plant exchanges.
 
Genealogy
2nd Friday, 1:00 p.m.
Share knowledge and resources in pursuit of family history. For beginners & advanced researchers.
 
Golf Beginner
Mondays 1:45 p.m.
Fridays 10:00 a.m.
A Spring group of beginning golfers who meet for lessons at Mile of Golf, and play at Georgetown Golf Course.
 
Gourmet Arts
1st Wednesday, 12:30 p.m.
Members host & prepare theme luncheons. Some couples events are scheduled.
 
Great Decisions
3rd Monday, 1:30 p.m.
Discussion of foreign policy issues contained in the Foreign Policy Association briefing book.
 
Healthy Appetites
3rd Thursday, 11:45 a.m.
Meets in membersÂ’ homes for educational programs on health-promoting food, recipes and techniques.
 
Hiking/Walking
1st & 4thTuesdays, 9:00 a.m.
Hiking and walking in Gallup Park and local areas to promote healthy exercise and camaraderie.
 
Inglis Recorder Players
1st & 3rd Fridays, 1:00 p.m.
Both novice & experienced players are welcome.
 
International Relations
4th Thursday, 1:30 p.m.
Guest speakers discuss international topics & issues.
 
Mahjongg
2nd & 4th Fridays, 10 a.m.
